Effective January 1, 2025: All inquiries for Section 8 utility allowances will be made available for a rate of $75.00, payable to FCHA. This new change will be implemented to help defray the costs associated with obtaining these utility allowances.

 

Requests can be made by contacting section8@fcha.net - Upon receipt of payment, utility rates will be made available via e-mail within 5 business days or 15 business days via united states postal services.

 

Right to Know Request forms will not be accepted for the utility allowances and access to the information is only obtainable at the fee listed above.

 

Exceptions will be made for any organizations with no financial interest in housing or development who are inquiring for the purposes of financial assistance to Section 8 or public housing participants/residents (for example: SCCAP, Salvation Army, etc.)
